With medical devices getting smaller and smaller, the need to use small cutting tools is essential.

To mill with small tools efficiently, you need a high-speed spindle that allows you to cut faster with less risk of tool breakage, reducing your machining time and saving you money. Produce prototypes or production parts in a wide variety of materials and sizes. The touchscreen display is easy to use; you do not have to be a machinist to operate the equipment. You can get all this flexibility with a DATRON machine that fits through a standard door and is virtually clean-room-ready.

I had no idea that ethanol could be used as a coolant, which would allow it to be used in the clean room. Conventional coolants are not allowed in the clean room. With alcohol cooling, the machine sprays a mist of alcohol on the cutter and material, and the parts come out clean and sterile, with no waste fluids.
