The DATRON M8Cube is a high-performance HSC milling machine that is versatile, extraordinarily efficient, and very accurate with a linear scale option. It features a large 40” x 33” work area with a small 69” x 69” footprint, an ergonomic working environment, and a low operating cost. The M8Cube is the top choice for efficiently machining housings, extrusions, and panels made of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals or composites.

Machines include onboard diagnostics. We provide phone support for initial diagnosis, and many issues can be resolved by swapping plug-and-play components. DATRON stocks parts and tools locally in the USA. For more complex repairs, DATRON employs highly skilled field service technicians who are available nationwide.
The polymer-concrete table has threaded inserts on a 100mm grid. Using DATRON’s conical locating system, vises, pallets, vacuum tables, and fixtures can be positioned and mounted accurately and quickly.
DATRON’s vacuum table system securely holds thin or thick sheet material across the entire work area, even for very small nested parts.
Yes. The M8Cube supports robot or cobot integration. Optional automatic doors and an automation module are available for fully unattended operation.

This optional open front section allows mounting of oversized or long parts, such as extrusions. It also supports an optional vertical workholding fixture and is required for a 4th/5th axis trunnion.
Standard requirement is 400V, 3-phase. An optional 11 kVA transformer (280V → 400V) is available from DATRON. The machine should be hardwired to its own dedicated breaker.
