Its high-speed spindle—up to 60,000 RPM—paired with a large 26″ x 20″ machining area makes it ideal for both full-size parts and densely nested jobs in aluminum, plastics, composites, and other non-ferrous materials. A 24-tool automatic changer and integrated camera with touch probe streamline complex setups and tool transitions with ease.

Machines include onboard diagnostics. We provide phone support for initial diagnosis, and many issues can be resolved by swapping plug-and-play components. DATRON stocks parts and tools locally in the USA. For more complex repairs, DATRON employs highly skilled field service technicians who are available nationwide.

The polymer-concrete table has threaded inserts on a 100mm grid. Using DATRON’s conical locating system, vises, pallets, vacuum tables, and fixtures can be positioned and mounted accurately and quickly.

DATRON’s vacuum table system securely holds thin or thick sheet material across the entire work area, even for very small nested parts.

Yes. The M8Cube supports robot or cobot integration. Optional automatic doors and an automation module are available for fully unattended operation.

Yes, especially for small-tool steel machining (.060″ or smaller). Common applications include engraving, micro-grooves, and drilling. Oil is required in the MQL system for steel.

Yes. The PC-based control connects easily to your network via Ethernet. Have your IT team coordinate firewall and security settings with DATRON.

They are mechanically identical except for size:

  • M8Cube: Standard work area 40” x 33”
  • MLCube: Larger work area 60” x 45” for bigger parts or multiple setups

This optional open front section allows mounting of oversized or long parts, such as extrusions. It also supports an optional vertical workholding fixture and is required for a 4th/5th axis trunnion.

Standard requirement is 400V, 3-phase. An optional 11 kVA transformer (280V → 400V) is available from DATRON. The machine should be hardwired to its own dedicated breaker.
