We keep a stock of commonly configured machines for immediate delivery. Custom configurations typically take 8–12 weeks.
All machines are engineered and built in Germany. Our USA subsidiary in New Hampshire stocks spare parts and tools and provides training, service, and support.
Maintenance is simple: keep the machine clean, grease the motion systems, and clean the air filters every few months. DATRON also offers preventive maintenance programs to protect your investment and maintain accuracy.
Very little. You’ll need clean, dry shop air and either single-phase or three-phase power, depending on the model. For networking, just connect an Ethernet cable. No floor reinforcement is required.
No. You may use other tools, but they must be balanced for high-speed spindles. DATRON’s micro-grain carbide tools are optimized for high-speed machining.
They do not run G-Code directly. DATRON uses a simple programming language called Simpl+, and we offer post-processors for major CAD/CAM systems such as Fusion® and Mastercam®.
DATRON uses an MQL (Minimum Quantity Lubrication) system. For non-ferrous materials, the system sprays ethanol, which evaporates cleanly within seconds. For steel and other materials, a light oil can be used in the MQL system.
Almost anything. DATRON specializes in high-speed machining of non-ferrous materials such as aluminum, brass, copper, and composites. The machines can also cut steel, especially for detailed work like engraving or micro-features.
DATRON provides a one-year warranty beginning at delivery to your facility (or rigging company). Wear parts such as spindle bearings are not included. Extended warranty options are available.
Bringing our high-speed machines in-house helps you take control of production with speed, precision, and efficiency. Connect with a DATRON expert to find the right machine and accessories for your workflow.
