End mills are the workhorses of CNC Milling and use cutting flutes to remove material.
DATRON Single flute end mills are ideal for material removal and roughing, as they are able to remove more chips per revolution with their large cutting channel and can be run at higher speeds thanks to their patented counter-balanced tip.
For very fine edge finishes, use a multi-flute end mill. Higher flute bits may need to be run at slower speeds to ensure proper chip evacuation and to prevent overheating. DATRON end mills excel at chip evacuation.
Ball nose end mills have a rounded edge radius for milling a smooth surface radius. The rounded ends make it ideal for cutting angles on complex shapes, like 3D surfacing operations.
