If you’re considering DATRON, it’s probably because you make small parts. But, that doesn’t mean that you don’t need a large machining area. After all, you may want to batch-machine many small parts rather than producing them one-up. With that in mind, the VelociRaptor, DATRON’s flagship product, was designed with a large bed that delivers 40” x 27.6” x 9.6” of machining area. This large envelope accommodates different fixturing and workholding solutions that facilitate quick job setup and change over to maximize production efficiency. DATRON’s Maximiser features our largest bed and provides a machining area of 60” x 98” x 7”.
