DATRON Training Programs
Produce even more effectively with training from our experienced support staff!
DATRON offers hands-on training for the operation of the CNC machines, application specific support as well as CNC and CAD/CAM programming. You may choose between several models:
1. DATRON tutorial guide:
- The tutorial guides you through basic operations of the machine and set-up
- Upon completion of the tutorial you will have created and machined a sample part
- Tutorial comes complete with book, material and mounting jig
- Guide generally takes one day to complete by a single individual
2. DATRON virtual training:
- Basic overview of the off-line DATRON software over the Internet
- Internet and telephone webinar is performed by experience DATRON trainer
- Training covers basic understanding of control software
3. Brown belt training for an individual or small groups at DATRON
- Basic overview of machine operation instructed by a DATRON trainer
- Overview of machine manuals and on-line help functions
- Overview of preventative maintenance plans and machine servicing
- Number of participants: 1 to 3 people; call DATRON regarding scheduling
4. Black belt training for an individual or small groups at DATRON:
- Overview of machine operation instructed by an advanced DATRON engineer
- Overview of preventative maintenance plans and machine servicing
- Advanced application specific training including custom programs and work holding
- Number of participants: 1 to 3 people; call DATRON regarding scheduling
Custom programming services
DATRON offers custom programming services if required. Advanced programming techniques, custom tool paths or turn-key programs can be written and emailed when extra assistance is required. Call DATRON regarding scheduling and quotations.
PrimCAM CAD/CAM training
Generally one day of training will enable you to set-up complex 2D CNC programs with the CAD/CAM program "PrimCAM". You will receive a general introduction into CAD and CAM programming. During the course you will create tool paths and run the set-up NC programs on the CNC machines.
