DATRON PR 0500: Intelligent sealing and glueing with the new compact portal robot from DATRON

The new, especially compact dispensing system PR 0500 from DATRON has especially low spatial requirements. In the work area, which is nevertheless generously dimensioned, parts up to a size of 500 x 750 mm can be dispensed on. The mechanical structure is designed for the highest precision and traversing speeds. The positioning accuracy on the workpiece lies in the range of 10 µm. This leads to higher process safety and reproducibility, even for very critical components.

The Windows-based control allows existing CAD/CAM data to be easily accepted.  Special functions, e.g. for Start/Stop and connecting functions for dispensing sealing beads, simplify programming enormously. The heart of this DATRON dispensing system is also the volume-precise dispensing head.  Independent of the viscosity or temperature fluctuations, the amount of adhesive or sealant dispensed always remains perfectly constant.

With this newly developed volumetric dispensing system, DATRON is setting extraordinary standards in the area of industrial dispensing technology for small and medium-sized components. Speed, high efficiency and process safety are guaranteed with the highly precise dispensing system PR 0500.

NEW: Retooling within seconds is no problem due to the proven modular clamping technology.  Aligning cones embedded on the machine table guarantee the exact reproducibility of the workpiece support. This, in turn, keeps the set-up and programming time to a minimum. This not only saves a lot of decisive time, but also money!

NEW: The probe sensor XYZ for automatically measuring workpiece surfaces and edges: With the help of this sensor, reference points can be automatically measured and material surfaces quickly digitalised. The workpieces can be measured in the X-, Y- and Z-directions.

The new dispensing system PR 0500 offers exceptional flexibility and was developed for highly dynamic applications at the same precision. With the special DATRON accessories, set-up times are decisively reduced and production drastically increased.
