DATRON is looking for an applicant who is self-motivated, a team player and enjoys working with their hands. This position requires the individual to program and operate German-Engineered CNC machining systems. Responsibilities include: Using CAD/CAM software, traveling across North America to install and train on the operation of the equipment and machining customer specific sample parts. The position also requires attending trade shows, in-house product demonstrations and running the equipment during open houses and workshops. The position requires approximately 50% of your time travelling to customer sites across North America and the other 50% of your time working at the Milford, NH office. This is a full time hourly position with medical, dental and 401k benefits.
The applicant should have experience in working with either CAD or CAM software programs such as Solid Works or MasterCAM. Experience with operating CNC equipment is preferred but not critical. Skills required are: Above average math and computer abilities, good communication, organization and documentation skills with attention to detail. Preference will be given to applicants holding an Associate’s degree in Machining Technology or Engineering. All applicants must have a valid Driver’s License and be eligible to travel across borders to Canada and Mexico.
